My Snailathon :)

Thank you for your encouraging words on my last post !! I have been busy( read lazy) to reply to you :D

I ran a marathon at snail's pace and made some progress on one of my cross stitch pieces . But before that, I did some coloring after a long time .


I found a cheap plastic frame at home, the one which have a transparency instead of glass in the front. It had some boring management quote written on it and got long time back in office .

And this is my Cross Stitch Snailathon result on Jungle Japes, height chart by Durene Jones.

Completed a toucan and turtle (no white and back stitching)

This is how it looks now.

Now, I am onto boring tree trunk stitching on the left . Hope it grows faster, I will try to water it daily with my threadspray :)

    Preeti the coloring is beautiful. Is is color pencils or sketch pens? Good progress on the cross stitch piece.

    Great idea to change the boring quote to something vibrant! A growth chart seems a massive project to take on, I commend you on your patience, lol. It looks fantastic:)

    Nice coloring! Those coloring books are so popular. But I haven't gotten one yet. I know I should. It's fun and so relaxing. I'm always tempted to color my four-year-old son's coloring pages, ha-ha.
    A slow progress on your cross-stitch work is better than no progress at all. Your work turns out lovely.
