New SAL and old shopping

Thanks for your lovely comments on my humming bird stitching !! It made my day :)

I have joined another cross stitch SAL for the month of October hosted by 'Pull the other thread .' Click here to know more about this SAL.

Rather than different projects, I have chosen these mini motifs from the book (rather, it is a pamphlet) 'Mary's minis' by Mary Engelbreit. They are cute and easy stitching 27 motifs. I am using a canvas sheet and will be stitching one by one in order of my favorites.

Diwali festival is coming by Oct end. Hopefully, I will be able to stitch these smalls while preparing for the festival.

I went to IKAT fabric exhibition around two months back . It is an ancient art that originated in South Asia and has its presence in India since 6th century .  I bought a set of double bed sheet and few pillow covers .

Here are a few snaps .

Hope you enjoyed the pics . Wish me good luck for the SAL .

Thanks,
Preeti
